Welcome to Palm uv clothing
Enjoy the sun, safely
Hi! My name is Juliana Correia, and I’m the Founder of Palm uv clothing. I’d love to tell you all about how our project started. Ready?
Having a dermatologist in the family, I have learned from an early age that sun safety is one of the most important preventive measures we can take to protect our skin.
I grew up with an increased awareness of sun protection habits that have allowed me to be safe while enjoying the sun – avoiding sun exposure in the most dangerous hours, wearing sunscreen everyday, wearing a hat, and wearing clothes that offer superior protection from sun rays. In fact, most of skin cancer cases that occur when you are an adult come from sunburns you got when you were a kid.
I believe that kids should enjoy the outdoors, they should be able to go to the beach, to the park, be adventurous - kids are happy that way! However, is not always that easy to renew their sunscreen and keep them sun safe, that is why wearing clothes with sun protection can help us keep our kids safe and comfortable in trendy and unique outfits.
Clothes with UV protection don’t have to be boring - sun protection doesn’t have to be boring - let’s make it fun together! Our products are made with comfortable and resistant materials that allow kids to celebrate their activities and personality, by mixing and matching their favorite designs.
We also want to share with our community valuable information about sun protection and how you and your family can be safe and enjoy the sun - in fun outfits!

Our values
Palm is for happy kids
Palm is for happy kids, who love to walk in the park in the mornings and watch the sunset at the beach, who want to grow up healthy and protect their skin.
Our reason
Why use Sun Protective Clothing
Children's skin is much more sensitive to sun exposure than adults’ skin, being more vulnerable to sunburn and other sun aggressions. In addition, in the first years of life, the skin contains little melanin, which is the pigment that protects the skin from UV rays, further increasing the risks associated with sun exposure.
